I had my new to me Volvo C30 detailed at Metropolitan Detail on 8/22/2010. I purchased my car from a reputable dealership, but didn't think to ask them if the car had ever been smoked in. The car seemed to smell fine when I purchased, but about a week later, it really started to smell of cigarette smoke. I have bad allergies, and couldn't deal with this odor in my new car. Based on a co-worker's recommendation, I stopped and spoke with John at Metropolitan Detail about removing the odor. John came in at 7, even though they open at 8, just so I could make it to work on time. After a day at Metropolitan Detail, the car was back to smelling clean and fresh. They even treated the air conditioning system, so the smoke smell wasn't coming through my vents. This was definitely money well spent, and now my new car feels new again.
The free loaner car was also very convenient.
