We're off to a very rough start with this organization. The initial parent meeting was disorganized. They originally had it scheduled for a different hotel. Luckily, I find out about the switch, but many parents went to the other location and we're late to the parent meetings.
I'm finding out we have to pay for every little thing. ID cards, trophies, uniforms. I was thinking about volunteering to coach, but any volunteer coach needs to pay for their own background investigation.
We'll see how the rest of the season goes, but at this point I'm not happy with them. Hopefully the sports are fun, but the paid staff (it is not a volunteer organization) suck.
