OK - I have been going here for almost a year. I walked in knowing absolutely nothing about firearms. All I knew is that I wanted one. These guys are smart and they NEED to be. With all the crazy people in the world their is nothing more dangerous than a gun shop.
I took advice from them and got some training and did some online work before my first purchase.
They don't sell bunnies, they sell GUNS! If I worked at that place I would be wearing body armor. People walk in all the time with loaded guns. They have a huge sign that says ""NO LOADED WEAPONS"" if you missed that and still walked through the door you should be thrown out on your ass.
The job the guys behind the counter have is to keep that place as safe as possible. They need to do the best job they can screening people before they get out on the range. Shooting is a privilege not a right. To all of those who are upset by the treatment the staff gives you - ""WAKE UP"" and grow a set. You are at the MOST dangerous public establishment around.
I have seen countless times where a person has lied about shooting, got on the range and has endangered themselves and me on one occasion.
If you want hugs and smiles head to Toys R us. If you want a safe and fun place to shoot. Head to Continental.
I have purchased my 10th weapon from them. The prices are actually quiet fair for being retail. The staff knows me and greets me with a smile every time I walk in.
Show them a little respect that is a dangerous job. If you had some random moron mistakenly pointing a gun at you a couple times a day I think you might be a little stern with customers too.
