Their project manager Elan reviewed my stuff to be moved from Princeton to Baltimore and confidently conveyed that that move out should not take more than 2 hrs and with a roughly 4 hr drive time and a 9 am start i should have no trouble meeting my 4:30 pm cutoff on moving into my Baltimore apartment.
On the day of the move the movers showed up at 10:30 and took 3.5 hrs to pack and of course didn't make it on time at my Baltimore apartment. As a result I had to pay $600 extra to have the move in completed next day. Also I was squarely blamed for the fiasco!!Elan also suggested I try bribing the front desk and garage staff at my apartments to let me move in!! Finally on the second day when the guys were supposed to show up at 8:30 am they finally showed up at 11:30 am!! After their drop off I found they had managed to impart multiple scratches to my new bed frames and had bent some of the bed base frames of my second bed..of course i was told that i could try talking to Elan but the company policy would mean they would take the furniture back with them and monitor the damages at their end (thus leaving me without my beds for don't know how many days!!)
All in all I felt these guys promise something and deliver absolutely nothing close to that.They sub contract their moves and are not in a position to vouch for the efficiency of the guys actually carrying out the move. I would never recommend these movers for any moves (and they are not inexpensive; they charge ~ $110/hr). Also make sure you are not swayed away by the smooth talking agents like Elan, who will talk about their integrity and professionalism and future business plans to gain your confidence but would do nothing to help you have a stress free move!!!
