I've been a customer off and on for years. I've given Jerry and Rosemary many thousands of dollars out of loyalty to a local business. And sometimes out of convenience because they're the only store in town. Apparently that counts for nothing when it comes to customer service or even general courtesy or professionalism. After three separate instances of rude treatment I'm done. These people are very polite as long as you're giving them money. They're happy to charge you top dollar for items that you could easily buy online for less. But God-forbid you need to return something or have some other need for customer service. It's like night and day! Suddenly their friendly and joking demeanor turns to passive-aggressive comments and stalling. This last time I was personally insulted by a member of the staff--I was shocked. And I'm not the touchy, overly sensitive type or the kind of customer who's always looking for trouble. Take my advice and do a web search for whatever camera equipment you're interested in. You can find it at a variety of reputable stores and at a much better price. I'm all about supporting local, but not when faced with their level of arrogance. more
