Both service and sales departments are rude and dishonest.
We went in to find a new vehicle for our family. We had already driven an Altima at another dealership and were sold on it, just needed to find the right one. We went to Valley and we were greeted right away. We drove one Altima and it was pretty much everything we ever wanted. The car had been brought in on a trade so it hadn't been inspected or detailed yet. We got some initial paperwork done but were unable to take the car home. Our salesperson said that he would give us a call the next day before 10am to let us know when we could pick up the car.
10am came and went, so I called him myself to find out that he had the day off. So he obviously never intended on helping us get our car. I spoke to the general sales manager. He was apologetic at first and said he that our car would be done by 5pm that day if he had to do it himself. He said he would call me to confirm a time so we can come in a get the paperwork finished.
5pm came and went. I called the general sales manager again and he was ""out of the office for a long errand"". I finally received a voice mail about 7pm that my car would not be complete until the next morning at 10am. That the car had gone through service and just needed to be detailed. To be there at 8am to finish paperwork.
The next morning, my husband and I arrived at 8am. We were greeted by our salesman who told us that our car was not going to be ready until the next day. I was furious. He told me that the car had not been through service and that we were going to have to wait. I told him that that was not going to work and I will sit in their waiting room until my car is finished. While service was finally getting everything rolling, we go to complete the paperwork. We were getting ready to sign all the paperwork when the finance manager says your payment is ""****"" Which was over $80 more the we were ""quoted"" 2 nights before. I told him no and since I was on edge already I think he got the point we were not going to be messed with. So we did end up getting the car for about $5k less then they were asking (as a result of their incompetence)
Recently we had to take our car into service because when we got tires put on the car the person broke our Smart Key. I set up THREE appts with service which they ""forgot"" about. The manager of service said ""If we are so horrible, why did you purchase the car from us?""
This experience was horrible and I would not recommend them. They treat their customers like trash and should not be supported. Even though it is a longer drive we are going to Boulder Nissan from now on, hopefully we can have a better experience there.
