First, they lost our reservation so we ended up at probably the worst table in the restaurant, right next to the kitchen. There was a constant flow of traffic, this was supposed to be a romantic dinner but no, it wasn't . You would think since we were so close to the kitchen we'd at least get good service, but no again. We waited 20 minutes just to order a drink and it was another 15 minutes before we received our drinks.
We lived in Miami for a few years and I think I can recognize good Cuban food. Alma De Cuba's food can only be compared to a middling Cuban restaurant at a Miami strip mall.
All around this was a disappointing evening. The service was poor, the food was just average, and I will never have another meal there again.
