At first glance the store is overwhelming, but after a few minutes the chaos begins to make sense. My 16 yr old daughter and I spent a couple of hours browsing and buying. The store was very crowded, but we we always had someone to help us if we had a question. \r

The trade for the paperbacks we brought in was more than we expected and there is a balance left for our next visit. We had two bags of paperbacks and our trade was almost $20. The bags were not full...but I can't recall how many books we brought in. The Book Lady requires that you pay 20% of your purchase before applying your trade amount....which is more than fair. My daughter found several books and our share was only $2.85 and we still have $9 on our trade.....which does not expire.\r

The free coffee was good and the dogs and people were friendly and there is no musty book smell. The store has a fun atmosphere. We will return often...even when we don't have books to trade. The bargain of the day was a 1945 edi
