David Steets History in Doubt? 8/11/2010

After reading about Mr. Streets accomplishments, I have a couple of concerns. He claims to have been the victim of 26,000 square feet of looting of his own gallery in New Orleans. He had no gallery and not a piece was stolen from any gallery except the gallery where David worked as a sales clerk. The owner suspects an ""inside job"".\r He served time for Grand Theft in Kentucky and was charged with the same offense while working for Bryant Galleries in New Orleans. \r He was fired at Hurwitz/Mintz for theft prior to that.\r He has never been anything but a clerk in New Orleans and it would seem that he has finally found a successful hustle.\r P.S. There is the issue of a fraudulent sculpture out of his gallery that was sold w/a certificate, 20 years old from bryant Galleries in N.O.\r There might be a pattern...\r Oh, about his 25 years experience? I believe he was in prison in Kentucky in 1985. more
