To start off, I have been eating Pi's Thai for about 5 years now, switching between the Sterling Heights and Hazel Park location. I preferred going to Hazel Park because of James the cook, who in my mind is a better cook than Mr. Pi. The portions and the hospitality at the Hazel park location were much greater than the restaurant on 16 mile and Dequindre. Unfortunately, James and his staff are no longer working at Mr. Pi's restaurant in Hazel Park. So, I did some research and talked to James. I found out he is in Thailand right now, will be back in September, and is opening up his own Thai restaurant somewhere on 15 and Mound area. I am so excited, and I can't wait. I just thought I would let everyone know. Mr. Pi lost the key to his success in my opinion. PASS IT ON!
