8/15/2010 - our first visit to the Virginia Beach Amphitheater to see the 3rd rescheduling of the Brooks and Dunn concert. After waiting in line for 30 minutes to get to the gate, we are rudely told that we can't bring in a chair that is over 9"" in height to sit on the lawn. I looked it up on their web site trying to determine what type of chair to bring and could not find it, it's in the very very small print and at the end of many other things you can do. We didn't stay, I'm not sitting on the ground for 3 hours for any concert. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK to this venue. What a waste of money and my time. I will surely pass this around to all my friends and anyone who will listen. What difference should it make what type a chair someone sits in your paying to sit on the lawn.
