My husband and I have eaten at Vintner several times and thought the food over all was above average. The portions are small but the food tasted pretty good and the ambiance is nice although we don't like being elbow to elbow with couples next to us. We were told the first time we went to ""try the tiramisu, its fantastic"". So we did and fell in love. To be honest that was what made us keep coming back...until tonight. To preface you for this let me explain we have had the tiramisu at least a dozen times at the restaurant and have taken it to go many times as well. I even special ordered a sheet for my birthday. Well tonight I went in to get an order to go and got it home, which was literally 2 minutes away, we live right behind the place. It was mushy and tasted more like the rum than anything. The pathetic little dish looked more like a mush or soup than desert. So I take it back. Long story short the second one is even WORSE. This time they compacted the cakey like substance into a hard layer and put the liquidy creme in between the layers, making another weird consistency for tiramisu. When I put the spoon in the hard cake layer actual scooshed the layer underneath. Point being they went from having the most fabulous tiramisu in town to the WORST. No exaggeration here people. Don't order it unless you feel like gambling.
