3 years ago I was delivering a cake to the salon and ran into Jackie, who was coloring someone's hair and doing an amazing job. The color she was doing was blond and it was so natural looking and beautiful. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor and had dark hair which was making me look sicker than I felt. I had been toying with going blond but was nervous about how it would look and the upkeep. Jackie squelched all my fears and turned me into a natural looking blond. I get compliments everyday on how good I look and no one even believes I even have cancer. My daughter who also gets her haircut at the salon, tells me I should never go back to dark hair. I have been going there for 3 years and always run into a lot of the same people. I think that speaks alot about the quality of service you get -starting with the complimentary valet parking to everyone who works inside. Everyone there is like a big family. I keep a list of their birthdays and surprise each of them with cupcakes. It is never a ""chore"" to have to get my color done, but rather morning out with coffee and old friends and you never know who will pop in.
