A Rare Bubble Tea Spot in the District 8/3/2010

I'm a huge bubble tea fan, and Snap is my go-to for bubble tea in the District, despite being a bit of a trek across NW for me. They have a wide range of flavors, from coffee to taro, and those chewy tapioca balls that I love. Their crepes are pretty darn good as well, although I come more for the tea than the crepes. I've enjoyed the classic Nutella with strawberries or bananas, and it always turns out warm and delicious. Their savory crepes are pretty solid - their turkey and spinach is nice and cheesy and filling enough for lunch. And if you're on a budget (which makes sense if you're splurging at the shops in Georgetown), Snap is cheap: savory crepes aren't more than $7 and sweet ones are about $4; bubble teas are less than $4. Pros: has bubble tea! good crepes, nice outdoor seating Cons: not the best bubble tea ever more
