I had never dined at Il Fornaio before and decided to give it a try with a friend over the weekend. The restaurant is in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek and a perfect place to end a day of great shopping and sightseeing. We were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us outside on the patio. Our server was amazing, prompt with delivering our drinks and very helpful in answering our menu questions. The food was spectacular and dessert was even better. We received outstanding service from the time we walked in the front door up to the time we left, and felt very welcomed. The staff was knowledgeable about the food, wine, and dessert selection, and made for a wonderful dining experience. I can't wait to go back!
