I went last Friday to look for a new Civic. The first one I looked at had no armrest on the driver?s right side. The salesman said it could be added as an accessory. Later in the office, he found that it was not included in the list of available accessories. But he still expressed confidence that it could be done. I bought the car. He said he would call me the next morning about the armrest. He didn?t. Six days after buying, I was told that it is not possible. When I asked for a discount towards PURCHASING an ADDITIONAL accessory as a concession for the misinformation, I was told that First Texas Honda is a ?no haggling? dealership.\r

Looking past the above inaccuracy, the car buying experience was fine. But is 50 bucks off a $450 accessory too much to ask to avoid souring the whole thing? First Texas Honda and I part ways on that question.
