I was looking into a siding project and had contacted them for a quote. Their presentation was nicely laid out and you could tell they put a lot of work into it. The salesman was pushy and wanted me to sign the contract that night. The price seemed high so I declined and decided to get a few more estimates. I contacted several other contractors that you see advertising on TV and a couple other smaller ones. Good thing I did. I found that the price quoted by “American Custom” was one of the highest. Several other contractors presented quotes that used the same or equivalent materials for a lot less. Lessons to be learned. Do your homework. Get several quotes and don’t sign any contract until you had a day or two to think about it.
