There are really no words for me to describe everything that Nick Ulrich has done for us. I am a PhD student from Spain who is going to be spending around 3 months in Austin with my brother and boyfriend who by the way, do not speak a word of English which means I have to be the one dealing with all the paperwork and a long, long etc. of stressful stuff, adding also to the fact that I do not really know how electricity, rental insurances, water, etc. is set up in the US, who do I have to call, what’s the cheapest thing, bla bla bla...
After going crazy for weeks I found Nick, and he was like light at the end of the tunnel. Not only did he go into the trouble of finding the best possible apartment for us (in less than 2 weeks), but also he is one of the kindest, hardworking, most thoughtful, charming person I have ever had the pleasure to talk to. Every question, problem I had, he solved it in the twinkling of an eye, even with the 7 hour difference. In addition, he has taken care of very single aspect that includes living in a foreign country, offered us a ride from the airport… he has even found a couple of friends for us who are going to be living close by !! I must say I could not have done it without him (imagine three people walking around Austin, huge luggage in hand, mid-August in Austin, looking for a place to live !!!). If you are looking for an apartment, Nick is your man!
Nick is one of those (few) truly good-hearted persons that nowadays, in this crazy world of ours, do not seem to abound.
