My husband and my mother go to Dr. Yang. Both parties have had multiple surgeries on the same joints (one hips, one shoulder). The med levels my mother and husband are currently on do very little for alleviating their pain. Yet, at every appointment the staff pushes to have both of them reduce their pain medication. My husband was scheduled for this fourth surgery as his shoulder is continuously slipping out of the socket (apparently that’s not painful.) The surgeon said we had to go to Yang to get post op. meds. But Yang said he would not give him any more meds for the post op pain. Apparently this pain specialist does not understand that a maintenance level of meds is not adequate for post op pain… Looks like my husband is going to have to keep living with a shoulder that continuously dislocates because he can’t get pain meds for the surgery. ...We are not quite sure why these people went into pain management as they seem to refuse to manage it...They have literally told him, to just live with the pain, it’s just a shoulder. So I will say this is closing: IF YOU WANT A PAIN DOCTOR WHO WILL KEEP YOU IN PAIN AND YOU LIKE BEING TREATED LIKE DIRT....GO TO YANG AND HIS STAFF!!

Cons: He and his staff have not interest in alleviating pain!
