My first experience with Dana's came when I purchased a car for my wife at a local used car lot. The car needed a timing belt installed and the VW dealer suggested that we install a water pump too at the same time since they seem to go out fairly regularly. After getting a price from the VW dealer, we decided to call the car lot where we bought the car. They suggested we take it to Dana's. Since our previous mechanic had quit the business, we followed the car lots advice. Dana's fixed the problem (very inexpensively too!). The bill came to $200 less than the quote and they put in a higher grade pump than original equipment! Then my car engine went bad, I took it to the cheapest place to have them install a used engine. I got what I paid for. It is now at Dana's getting fixed. Dana's didn't rag on about the hacks that installed the engine (they refused to talk badly about another mechanic), but they hold to their estimates and do great work. They tell us what needs to be done, what should be done and give us the choice about when to do it. They even gave me pointers about some corrections that need to be done on my car when I do the brakes myself. We couldn't be happier and send everyone we know to them.
Pros: Great service, good work, great prices, honest
Cons: a little slower than I would hope
