I looked at several rescue operations before Molly's. With the others, there was no way to actually see the dog unless you filled out their application, and the applications in many cases were as much as 6 pages long, wanting references and visitations, home inspections, a very long complicated process.
At Molly's I could actually see and interact with the dog I was interested in. I wasn't allowed to take my dog (pup) home until he was neutered, vaccinated, and they were happy with his health. The application is 1 page. The place is like nothing else I've ever seen, dogs just everywhere, but messes are cleaned up immediately and they manage to keep it very clean.
I found everyone there to be friendly and helpful. There are plenty of people working keeping the dogs in order and everyone I met was happy to talk about the dogs individually and answer any questions. The fee seemed high at first ($425) but considering the neutering and microchipping, etc etc. we ended up feeling that it was well worth it.
As for the last two entries, sometimes its hard to imagine that these folks went to the same place I did. Maybe the writers were just having a bad day.
I'd recommend Molly's place to anyone.
Pros: excellent place to meet pets, people were professional and h
Cons: slippery floors lol
