I too was a little puzzeled and must comment on the unfavorable review posted on 4/7/10. I have been a client of Joanna's for over ten years. My first experience was at her salon on Newbury St. in Boston. After years of being less than happy with my hair color and reading the article about her salon and expert talent of color correction in Allure magazine, I decided to visit her. Best thing I ever did. Not only did she take the time to consult with me and listen to my needs, she proceeded to evaluate my hair condition and create a color that was perfect for me. I left her salon that day looking & feeling the best I ever had. I have been with her ever since. Joanna not only knows you as a client, she gets to know you as a person. I have always found her to be well groomed, considerate and professional while being friendly and making you feel comfortable. Her shop is beautiful, clean & relaxing where you get to meet and mingle with other regulars over coffee, tea, food etc. Her speciality is hair color, she does not cut hair only. However she will cut hair for her clients that she colors, over the years she has catered to all my whims and changes of hair styles desired, I have never been unhappy. I have many people comment on my hair color and style, that is the best flattery and recommendation anyone can achieve, not to mention how good it makes me feel.
