I have worked as a waiter at Longhorn Steaks for the past 18 months. As a result of repeated lifting and carrying food with one side of my body, I began to develop neck and arm pain. My hand and finger would begin to tingle and sometimes I would wake up at night with an arm that had no feeling. I knew something had to be done. I called my buddy who went to Dr. Batchelor, a chiropractor in Roswell. The doctor worked on my neck and back for about 20 minutes and found the nerve that was being pinched in my neck that traveled into my arm and hand. He used a couple of physical therapy machines first before using chiropractic. After the treatment, I could turn my neck much further and without pain and I had no more tingling in my arm. The doctor gave me exercises that I had to do each day for my neck so that I could fix the muscle balance in my neck that had been caused by my waiter job. Dr. Batchelor said that the waiter job was the same thing as going to the fitness center every day and working out only one side of my body. Eventually it would catch up with me. It did. Now, as a result of the treatment, I do not wake up with a numb arm and I don't have anymore pain or tingling. I highly recommend Dr. Batchelor. He knows his stuff.
