Through the process, my questions were answered with limited amounts of truth. When I asked questions like what is the difference between GIA and EGL they gave me answers like "we check the quality of every diamond that comes in here so it doesn't matter." This was typical for them to answer my questions like they were politicians trying to avoid an issue. Despite my reservations about how I had been treated I figured the owner would give me a decent price since I was referred to him by a mutual friend. I purchased the ring and had it sent to me since I live in Chicago and didn't want to have to drive back to pick it up.\r
