Kevin is such an artist! I've had him execute a couple of table bases for granite tops, and he has done a terrific job! He has a lot of yard art out by the office and they are so interesting! Even though most of his business is gates, stairs, railings (just look at their website to see the quality) he loves to create pieces of art.
If you can't find a contemporary table in this town (and I couldn't after looking for months) just get a granite or marble top that you like and take a picture of something you like. He can even work with material like rebar.
The trick is to let him take his time. Everything turns out great! His larger installations depend usually upon the timing of other subcontractors and weather conditions, so don't get impatient!
