I have had Hi Tech Car Care as the primary agent for repairing my 2001 Subaru Forester since I purchased it several years ago. I entrust it's maintenance entirely to them. I live 18 miles away but am willing to go there because I think they are very reputable.
They catch things before they occur, and maintain a detailed log on what has been done with my vehicle. Now I have a job that takes me all over the state, and I trust them to make sure I will not be stranded anywhere on my way.
I believe that they only do the work that is needed, and if something can be put off, they will say so. I trust them to tell me what I absolutely have to do, and what can wait based on mileage and the condition of the car.
