I have had several spa services at Avante and have always had a good experience. Hope is fabulous. She has performed bikini and leg waxes for me, as well as deep tissue massage. She is always professional and pleasant. Her massage pressure is excellent, and she checks in with you to ensure that it remains that way. The owner, Natasha, has done my hair several times, and I am always pleased. I feel confident going to her, knowing that I will come away feeling satisfied with an excellent hair-cut and style. Natasha also did my updo for my wedding and it was beautiful! She took the time to talk to me about what I liked and didn't like, as well as viewed photos and sampled a few styles on me (loosely) to see what looked best. She cut my hair prior to the wedding to make sure it was the appropriate style and length for what we were doing. The day before the wedding, she washed and styled it for my rehearsal dinner, to ensure that it would be the right consistency the following day for my style. On the day of my wedding, she was friendly, encouraging, and funny. My updo was exactly what I wanted. My entire bridal party also went to Avante for hair and makeup the day of my wedding. Hope did our makeup and customized our looks to each woman's taste, after a brief consultation with each. All of the hair stylists at the salon are excellent. They, likewise, spoke with each member of the wedding party and styled their hair to each's taste and personality. We were all very pleased with the results! It is true that this is not a 'spa' in the traditional sense, it is a salon - hence the title "Avante Salon." However, I find that I always come away relaxed and refreshed, as if I had just spent hours at a spa.
