Our experience at the Three Forks in Austin left a lot to be desired. Visiting Austin, we went to the Three Forks for our 1st Anniversary hearing they had live Jazz that night. We had a reservation and upon arrival asked for a nice table to hear the Jazz. We were stuck back in a little closet of a room with no atmosphere. When we asked to move to a particular table by where the Jazz was playing, the hostess ignored us and reluctantly tried to move us to a table in the main room as far away as possible (opposite of where we wanted to sit). Finally we said we want this particular empty table so she moaned and reluctantly moved us there. The food was not great. Actually my wife did not like the duck...it seemed raw and the sauce was too sweet. For the price I would say it was highly over rated. We received no recognition that it was our Anniversary other than the waitress wishing us a happy one. She did come by and take our picture at the end, but never came back to the table to give us a copy. It was not special at all. \r

The Valet parking completely ruined any chance of a good evening. While pouring down rain, I went to get the car at the valet station. They asked me to recheck my pockets to see if I had the keys since they could not find them. I explained to them that the last time I saw them was when they drove off in my car. My wife went back inside and the hostess saw her and gave her the picture. When the valet discovered they gave me the wrong number, they finally found the keys. After all that, while being at night time and raining, the driver came up with the lights off and talking on his cell phone. This was not in their private parking lot, but rather on one of the busiest street in Austin. I complained to the head Valet who basically blew me off. But do not worry, he still charged me for it . \r

I would recommend skipping this restaurant and going someplace with some atmosphere, good food and cares and its customers. \r
Cons: Valet was the worse, food was fair at best and over priced,
