FIrst Baptist has many friendly, faithful members. Many different people greeted me and made me feel very welcome. The church has lots of exciting things going on--outreach to college students, outreach to immigrants, worship which combines traditional hymns with modern technology. The pastor preaches from the lectionary used by most mainline Protestant churches. There is a strong emphasis on missions and prayer support of one amother. I feel Jesus' presence there very strongly. I love it and look forward to visiting there whenever I am in the Storm Lake area!
