I have been to this location previously and had an okay experience. It is a little run down and the bathroom was disgusting. However, my hair dresser was great and extremely personable. She also helped me to decide on a few things that I was testing with my hair and gave me some good advice.
I was willing to go back and endure the heat (when I went it was summer and they must not have AC), and the lack of following a schedule (I had an appointment and didn't get in for 30 minutes after my appointment).
However, I was new to St. Louis and did not have a lot of experience with people knowing how to cut my biracial hair. So, I was willing to go back.
Today I was calling to make an appointment and the receptionist answered the phone and then began to get rude with me. I was merely asking her for appointment times and then when I didn't answer right away she YELLED "Can you hold?" with a definite attitude. As I was shocked and did not answer right away she yelled it again TWO times and then just clicked HOLD. I hung up.
Now, I understand that they provide quality service. But I can go somewhere else to receive quality service and GREAT customer service. I will NOT be returning. First impressions are key!!
