An answer to our prayers 3/18/2010

Our dog got hit by a car. A good samaritan took her to a vet in the area as the dog got out while I was not at home. She was given xrays and bandage for her disjointed leg and we were sent an animal hospital in Aurora. We were charged almost $1000 total in less than three hours and then harassed for more expensive surgery. We did not agree to surgery as it was explained that the dog would heal at a slower rate with out surgery. Once we returned home the hospital called the the vet and decided that if we were not going to get the surgery we would have to have the dogs splint changed every 2 days for $57 each time. We simply could not afford this. Then this vet offered us a bargain deal on an amputation. We went to Timberline. The Dr. put a better splint on our dog and told us she should come back in two weeks. The price was right. The dogs legs is getting stronger and the other vet called back to see if we were neglecting our dog because we did not use their services. Thanks to Timberl more
