A Special Touch 3/23/2010

After several bad experiences with daycare centers I was very fortunate to come across A Child's Touch. My son has been there 4 years and it has been nothing but positive! Before A.C.T. my son would cry everyday I dropped him off and several times throughout the day. From day one at A.C.T. he has been so happy and looks forward to going to school. I have never seen an environment that offers such incredible learning and fun at the same time. It's like taking your child to the Children's museum and park everyday! I love how much he gets to be outdoors in such an awesome ""backyard"". The best part of Kindergarten is how much he is learning (reading at a level higher than his 2nd grade friends!) while at the same time having fun. It's like they sneak the learning in without the kids realizing that while they are having fun with an activity they are filling their minds with knowledge. My son has developed a love of school and all subjects. We say he gets to go to school, not he has to go to school today! I never worry about him while he is there because it is a very safe and nurturing place. He is a picky eater but loves the food they serve. I have had to stop in the kitchen several times to get some recipes that he wants me to make at home! The entire staff at A.C.T. is very friendly and helpful and have accommodated our special needs when necessary. My experience with other daycare centers has been that teachers come and go throughout the year. This can be difficult on the children. At A.C.T. the teachers have been there for years! They are by far the best teachers I have ever seen. I wish I could talk to every parent struggling with daycare issues and let them know how wonderful A Child's Touch is. Pros: academics, fun, staff Cons: Can't find a 1st grade that compares to what A.C.T. offers more
