My family adopted a year old border collie from West Tennessee Border Collie rescue some years ago. The dog we rescued had come from Memphis Animal Shelter and was in sad shape. She was on the thin side and suffering from some horrible upper respiratory problems. The shelter staff thought she had distemper. My mother took her to Community Animal Shelter and Fefe (as she named by the rescue and then later renamed Montana) was given a check up from Dr. Miller. He worked to save our new, sickly pet. By some miracle, Montana survived and now is a well taken care and cherished member of the family. Without Dr. Miller, we'd never would have had that chance.
