I was looking foward to trying the Wasabi Factory for the first time. It had a nice trendy look and interesting atmosphere. The waitress took our order while rubbing her hand all over her face then getting spoons for the miso soup and setting the spoons on the table. The food was awful, awful. Awful. Everything in our Bento Box was not even lukewarm while the salmon was hot. The tempura broccoli tasted like it had sat in the deepfryer then had been fried again. The tempura potato was crispy-raw. And the shrimp in the tempura shrimp had already been precooked, then battered. Tasted awful while the batter was still mushy and raw. The deep fried tofu was terrible as it had also been undercooked and tasted like a fresh block of tofu. Miso soup was way too salty. We tried to tell the waitress why we weren't enjoying our meal, but she didn't let us finish our conversation and instead brought the cook to our table so we could tell him. He listened to part of our concern before interrupting us because he didn't want to hear the rest. We love teriyaki and sushi and thought this place would be great. Instead we won't be going back. Ugh. Overpriced for bad food for small portions and ill trained staff.
