We found the car on the internet and hurried out to see it. The vehicle that we wanted was their in good condition as pictured online. We had already obtained our own financing so all the dealer had to do was follow their guidelines. After negotiations over the numbers (trade in and who was going to pay finance company fees), we agreed on a number and took possession of the vehicle a few days later. Two weeks later I get a call from the finance company about a small issue on my part to find out that the dealer sent the deal to them 40% over accepted LTV (roughly 4500 dollars ...this was the fee that we told them we would not be paying). Was told that they would be sending the deal back. Went back to the dealership to find out I had to pay them this monies or give the car back. After two weeks falling in love with the car (which is what they wanted...they hoped that I would give them more money), I had to part ways with it because of the deceiving finance department. Then they tried to blame it on our finance compnay insteading manning up. Needless to say wiithin that two weeks I have a better job and will be purchasing a vehicle that I really want from anyone EXCEPT CLASSIC CHEVEROLET. If you choose to buy a vehicle from their just know that they are not going to keep it real. P.S. I have worked in auto finance for 1 Year and have seen this happen to so many customers and they usually end up putting more down, which is why I am 100% sure that their actions were intentional. If it wasn't they should fire their finance guy b/c he can't do simple math.
Pros: Great salesperson
Cons: Deceiving finance department
