I read some of the negative reviews and noticed that nearly all of them occurred before the restaurant closed in March 2009. I highly recommend trying the new & much improved Alchemy.?
We went to the newly re-opened Alchemy one evening for our wedding anniversary and decided to eat in the Wine Bar area. We got a table near the beautiful fireplace and ordered chocolate martinis. Then we ordered 3 small plates on the $7 till 7 menu, where you have your choice of 7 small plates for $7.00 each until 7:00 pm. We ordered the duck confit quesadilla, the tomato, mozzarella, & pesto pizzarette, and the pork sliders. Everything was delicious. Our waitress, Stacey, was very friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. The bartender, Steve, walked over to see how we liked our martinis. And the manager came over to see how we were doing. By the way, no one knew it was a special occasion for us. We will definitely be back many more times!
