We bought 2 cords of wood from Barry Helverson. I asked him if we would be able to burn his wood THIS season, he said absolutely and claimed this was the best wood you could buy.
He was wrong. The wood he sold us very green wood. It literally drips moisture when 'trying' to burn.
In his defense he tried to give us some dry wood on top of what he already sold us, which was still not dry. We are stuck with 2 cords of very green wood in the middle of winter.
We will never use Helverson Firewood again. There is no room for a dishonest business in my book.
Pros: Can't think of any pros, because I'm too cold!
Cons: The told me the wood could be burned this season. He lied.
