I don't get it... do you all have supersonic hearing? Are you really sensitive to loud noises? Were you traumatized by the rumbling of trains at a young age?
Seriously, unless you live in the very front of the complex or possibly on the side where the train tracks run, you can't hear a thing. I've been living at Inwood for over a year and I've never heard the train from my apartment. And as for the planes... really guys? Really? So you hear two seconds of a plane overhead... really?
I'll admit that the top apartments get a little warm, especially the loft, but that's to be expected. The dishwasher in my place is a little old and some stains came up in the carpets after a few days of living there, but that's about the gist of my complaints. Maintenance has never taken more than a day to fix a small problem and no more than an hour for more urgent issues.
The only other thing to consider is the area. Personally, I like it because it's close to HCC, International, the Veterans, Citrus park mall, etc. But some of Waters Ave is a little run down and yes... ghetto. But there aren't any gangs hanging around the complex and I've never heard of any burglaries.
I don't know... maybe I just got lucky, or maybe it's good karma. Either way, I still recommend Inwood Park Apartments.
Pros: Nice staff, clean pools, nice layouts and landscaping
Cons: Carpets are a little dirty, dishwasher kind of old
