Inconsiderate, poor customer service 2/12/2010

My wife was scheduled for her fourth appointment at the Alpharetta, GA location on Feb 13, 2009. Around noon on the 12th, it started snowing in northern Georgia. My wife called to reschedule the appointment due to the high likelyhood of excessive ice on the road and warnings from the DOT to stay off of the roads. She was told there would be a 50 dollar fee for missing the 25 dollar appointment. Also, she was told that if the tech can come in, she should be able to come in too. I called back to let them know that this was unacceptable, to which the man on the other end of the phone, who identified himself as the owner of the company, told me there was nothing he could do about it. To me, a 4 time repeat customer who has recommended the business multiple times should be treated better than that by the ""owner."" Babies First Images will never be getting any other business from me or anyone I know. I think the recommendation from a business someone in another state that goes against the recommendations of the state DOT is irresponsible and dangerous, and I assumed customer satisfaction and return business was worth more than $50.
