I have had the wonderful opportunity to go on several tours with Wanderlust. I have done several cave tours, a bonfire snowshoe, and a daytime snowshoe. All were well worth the cost and I learned a lot.
The trip started with being picked up in the Wanderlust van and heading to our location. Along the way the guides were very knowledgeable in sharing about the different natural and historical features we passed. They also made great recommendations for other fun things to do in Bend. Our cave and snowshoe trips were both incredible experiences and very different. At the end of the snowshoe trip we got to enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate to warm back up.
To my surprise, Wanderlust even sent me a post card (hand written by the guide who led our tour) thanking me for coming on the tour. Wanderlust is one of our favorite places to tour with whenever we go to Bend. We are looking forward to doing a canoe and kayak trip in the near future as well.
Our guides were Jack and James (Both were incredible, funny, and extremely knowledgeable)
I would recommend a Wanderlust tour for ANYONE (Kids, parents, grandparents, old, young, etc). It is a great way to add an educational and fun experience to your trip to Bend and well worth the costs.
Pros: Fun, Educational, Great for families, individuals, couples
Cons: Nothing!!! This was an exceptional tour
