I am sorry that your heart was broken, but the people at the shelter really are doing a service for these dogs. The rules on the website do state that you have to put a non-refundable deposit down on a dog if you want no one else to be able to view it. There are many other amazing dogs at the shelter that are in need of a good home. They too do not judge and only want to be loved. I would not give up finding a good dog there. The volunteers are really trying to get the perfect match for each dog.
Pros: They really try to fit the dogs with the perfect home.
Cons: People don't come to look at some of the dogs.
