We were moving to a new condo in Long Beach from Oregon and wanted the condo painted completely before our furniture showed. So they had the run of the whole house unencumbered by furniture, pets or residents. We arrived back from Oregon expecting the job to be finished, it wasn't. The condo has plantation shutters in the living room and master bedroom, when we opened the shutters they hadn't painted the window jamb behind the shutters.
Further inspection shows touch-up done with semi-gloss paint on flat paint.
The real problem didn't show up for a few weeks. When we gave the job to Paint Boy we were told they would prime everything, a necessary step when painting of old oil based paints, that didn't happen. The paint is peeling in both bathrooms. I called Paint Boy with a complaint and they were supposed to come and inspect. Needless to say they were a no show and I'll have to look to other alternatives like the BBB and California Contractors Board. I would not recommend this group
