Nobody was in the office when I arrived fifteen minutes early for my appointment. I was a new patient and gave myself time to fill out the insurance paperwork. Dr Quon showed up 10 minutes late for my appointment.
Second impression, a thread bare, stained carpet on entry. No lights on except the one over my ""cubicle"" as he led me to the back. I sat in an old, torn dentist chair squeezed between clutter. He had called the automated insurance line 4 times because he was clueless to the information they were requesting. Now, over two months after my visit, I receive a call from Dr. Quon to inform me that he doesn't know how to submit my insurance forms. He told me I need to call my insurance company to obtain a remittance form for him, or I will be responsible for the full bill! I found him on the Blue Cross Website! He has no idea how to perform the administrative part of his job.
During my visit, I asked him many questions about teeth whitening and a night guard. He said he was going to check with my insurance and send me a quote. I have not heard back from him until today... about the bill!
I will not be returning to Dr Quon.
Pros: Nice Guy
Cons: Completely incompetent with paperwork, No Follow up.
