bad customer service, lazy and incompetent installer 12/24/2010

Stay away from these incompetent installers. I was told over the phone that they had over 10 years experience with installing alarms but that's all a lie. Paid for a top of the line compustar alarm with proximity sensor for my 06 accord. The installation time would only be 3 hours max. Well that was totally off. It ended up taking 1 day, an overnight stay in the shop, and extra 2-3 hours the next day. Joe doesn't have the courtesy to make a call and tell you about the status of your car or that it will take longer to install. If you call him up and ask about your car he will hang up and blame it on reception. After being lied to and getting a smirk from the installers; I received my car. When I received the car it looked like everything was functioning correctly well I was wrong. When I got back home my car wouldn't turn off. I put the key back in the ignition and tried to turn it off again and it still wouldn't turn off. I had to actually remote start it again with the remote to turn it off. It was programmed for manual reservation mode when my car is an automatic!!!! Called up Joe and he asked, ""Is the car a manual?"" I said, ""No, it's an automatic!"" He and the installer should of known this since my car was in the shop the whole day and night earlier!!! Told me to bring it in to diagnose the problem. I already knew what the problem was but Joe lied and said that the e-brake wire came loose when the installer diagnosed it. So basically before handing over the car they don't bother to test it to see if everything is working correctly. I would not recommend these guys to anyone. I should of just went to Cartunez in Lakewood and saved myself the headaches of being lied to and making 4 trips back and forth to Hi tech. more
