I love it that I can walk in here with a single screw, say I want an identical one except half an inch shorter, and the staff finds EXACTLY what I need for like 17 cents. I can test a variety of anchors, bolts, screws, etc. at home -- without spending a fortune -- determine which kind works best for my current project, and then go back and buy the quantities I need to complete the project. The staff doesn't overwhelm you with unwanted attention, but when you're ready to ask for their help, they are invariably thorough and resourceful. I LOVE having this hardware store in the neighborhood.
