Katherine's is overrated and doesn't taste like it is cooked by real chefs. If you want all of the attitude but none of the quality Katherine's is the place to go. I tried to give it a chance because I live close by. The quiche is heavy and dry and the cakes taste like sugar water with no flavor. Cookies are better at a supermarket. Also it is one of the places that the staff gives you the impression that they couldn't care less if you are a customer or not. Nearby, Trompeau offers much better quality baked goods that have flavor. but the best is Andre's Confiserie Suisse. My friends confessed to me that the christmas cookies that I gave them from Katherine's were regifted by them- not yummy at all. I didn't blame them when I tasted one.
