Someone soliciting with flyer should and did make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Brain says look at the great job we did next door. Skeptic i say have the boss give me a bid. Boss says all the right things...pressure wash and prep, two coats of quality sealant, doesn't want payment till job is done. Will get job done in two days which was 2 days before holiday guests arrive. Then begins the asking for money since has to buy product. I give him 1/3 of the agreed on price. Two men came out to prep with inferior equipment for 1.5 hrs. Next day boss comes to spray. Cant spray because not prepped well but did spray a small area. Cant reprep because euipment at another job site. ""my guys will be there first thing in the morning to finish the prep. Next day same two guys and equipment show up for 1.5hrs at 2 pm. Cant spray because driveway now wet. Holiday goes by with patches of spray and their equipment left up and down my driveway. In the meantime him wanting more money to pay his crew. Finally shows up to spray and I tell him no thanks. I am not paying anymore but thank him for moving some dirt around and blowing the leaves of my driveway. Buyer beware.
