At first, I was really skeptical about joining this fitness class. Since I am ""somewhat older"" and had not worked out in years, I was concerned about not keeping up with the younger members of the group. Emily's understanding of my concerns and her incredible optimism won me over.
Sure, the bootcamp is demanding, but by going at my own pace, I was able to get up to speed fast. The routines are always varied, so it never gets boring. And because Emily is also a yoga instructor, the warm up and cool downs offer some really good stretching for added flexibility.
I can't recommend this exercise class highly enough. In just six weeks, I have lost 11 pounds and over 1.5 inches in the waist. And for the first time in years, I am getting fit.
This bootcamp is really fun. The other class members are so encouraging, every little bit of progress is celebrated by all. Emily is not only a really knowledgeable personal trainer, she is a wonderful coach and motivator.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would get up to be at a 6 AM bootcamp class, but now I would not miss it.
If you want to get in shape, lose weight while having fun, this is the fitness class to take. Too bad this site only has 5 stars, because this is a 10.
