I've been riding and competitively showing in Tucson for the past 7 years and have gotten to know both the twins and their students. They are both friendly and always cheer for their students and give them lots of positive encouragement while on course and outside the arena. They are not mean or bad people at all and make a point of being friendly to everyone at the shows. The only thing I've noticed with their barn is the lack of skills the students show. It's concerning to see a child who still does not know her leads and is to big for the pony she's on, showing in a 2'9 division. Furthermore, I think they move their students up to quickly. There's nothing wrong with learning solid basics and taking the time to do so. I feel that both girls do not teach basics and move on to quickly. This is dangerous and scary to watch for any bystander. I personally have no problem with Jenny or Abby and enjoy talking with them; I do think that they need to work on their training skills before presenting their students at a horse show.
