I can't say enough about the helpful people at Pioneer Appliance. The way I found them was that our washing machine stopped working so I called an appliance repair service. They told me over the phone I was better off buying a new machine. So I asked the woman if she knew of a place that sold used machines. We didn't have money for a new one. She gave me the number to Pioneer Apliance. I went to their shop to see what they had. I spoke with Ann and told her what had happened to our washer. She told me what could be wrong with it and convinced me to bring it in, since it wasn't that old of a machine. I brought it to their shop and they checked it out. It turned out to be a small problem. A sock had gotten stuck in the pump of the washer and shut everything down. They got it to work and only charged me 25.00 dollars for there work. I ended up giving her forty dollars as a small token of my appreciation. We just moved here to Austin from Chicago about a month ago. She could have gouged us for alot of money or tried to sell us another machine, but she was very honest and straight forward about what they would do. I appreciated her honesty and how much she helped us out. Letting people know about them is another small token of my appreciation. Thank you Pioneer Appliance!!\r
